Easter Seals Celebrates 63 Years in Our Community

On Thursday, July 16, Easter Seals Southwest Florida hosted a reception celebrating 63 years in the community.

The organization, which provides programs and services to individuals with disabilities throughout their lifespans, welcomed old friends and new to its Programs Center at 350 Braden Avenue in Sarasota. The event was an opportunity for Easter Seals Southwest Florida to showcase its existing programs with talks and tours, while sharing photos and memorabilia dating back to its beginning as “Happiness House.” In addition to supporters, former clients and poster children of Happiness House were in attendance, also sharing their stories and memories.
