On Friday October 23rd Easter Seals held its 3rd Annual Job Fair sponsored by SunTrust Bank. This year’s event was the most successful job fair yet, with over 100 people participating.
In addition to having some great employers on site to speak with job seekers, a number of workshops were held, including Banking, Interviewing, “What Employers Really Want”, and Resume Building. This focus of this year’s job fair was helping people who have a disability get back into the work force. “We were overwhelmed with how many people came!” said Erin Greenhalgh, Easter Seals’ Human Resources Manager. “We are hoping next year’s job fair to be even bigger and better.” |
