Dr. Tony Tiberini has been a Bradenton resident since 1995 and is the Owner/Broker of Century 21 Alliance. Dr. Tiberini has been the President of the Arts Council of Manatee County. Tony was asked by the Village of the Arts Association to consult their original board. He helped to set up their bylaws and the protocol for board members. He is also a past Board Member of the Manatee Players Theater.
As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton, he chaired Youth Services and Young Children Priority One, where his committees won first place in the Florida Kiwanis competition. He was awarded the New Comer Award and another year the Distinguished Service Award. Tony’s dedication to his community includes his involvement in the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce, and the Manatee County Better Business Council. He is also a member of the Palma Sola Yacht Club where he served as Commodore. At this time he is a member of the Manatee, Florida and the National Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Century 21’s South Florida Brokers Council. For 20 years, Dr. Tiberini taught at the college level at Delaware Technical and Community College in Wilmington Delaware, where he served as the head of the Marketing and Management area. The courses he taught included Marketing, Sales, Sales Management, Business Law, Finance, Economics, Management Strategy, Advertising, Office Management, Small Business Management, Real Estate Investments, as well as courses accredited by the American Institute of Banking. Prior to teaching college courses, Tony spent 8 years as the Business Education Department Chairperson and one of 3 Division Chairs at McKean High School in Wilmington, Delaware. His students won two DECA National Chapter’s of the Year and in 1975 won Delaware’s Distributive Education Teacher of the Year. He helped to develop and advise the Customer Service Department for the Credit Card Industry in Delaware. During his teaching tenure, Tony was Advisor for the Marketing Club and Phi Theta Kappa (the Community College’s Honor Society). He was also an adjunct Business Professor at Wilmington College and Goldey-Beacom College. In 1995, in its first year, Tony was recognized by receiving the University of Texas’ Excellence in Community College Teaching Award in Austin, Texas. Dr. Tiberini worked as a consultant in Delaware and Pennsylvania at Real Estate Recruiting, Marketing, Promoting and Training for 10 Years. Tony was appointed by two Governors of the State of Delaware, where he served for 10 years on Delaware’s Advisory Council for Vocational and Career Education. In 1989, Dr. Tiberini was selected to represent the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra during a trip to East Germany, where along with the Art Minister, he arranged a performance for 125 members of the orchestra prior to the dissolution of East Germany. In his spare time, Tony enjoys listening to opera and classical music, writing articles and reading biographies, as well as practicing his bilingual abilities in Spanish and Italian. Education: B.S. in Economics from Villanova University; M.S. in Education from the University of Delaware; EdD Temple University.
