Marina Adair - Director

Marina AdairMarina Ramirez Adair was born in San Antonio, Texas and relocated to Bradenton in 1986. She is a visual artist, Gallery Owner, and President of Marina's Village Studios & Gallery, Inc. As a co-founder of the Village of the Arts district in Bradenton, she designed its colorful logo. She enjoys educating the public on programs and messages that represent the economic impact that the arts bring to our local community. Her leadership helped pave the way to develop and form the Village of the Arts as one of the first property owners in that neighborhood.

Marina's Village Studio's & Gallery, Inc. has been nominated “Business of the Year” for two consecutive years by the Chamber of Commerce. Her community commitments include serving as President of the Arts Council of Manatee County, Vice President of the Artists Guild of Manatee, Inc., a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Latin Chamber of Commerce, the Art League of Manatee, the Tamiami Trail Scenic Highway Initiative, Keep Manatee Beautiful, the Downtown Redevelopment Committee, the Manatee River Walk Project, the Judicial Center, and Imagine Manatee. She is also an alumnus of the Leadership Manatee Association.

During her long time involvement with the Manatee Chamber, she served on the task force for its new logo design and marketing strategy. For many years, Marina has also served as a judge for the Bradenton Herald Golden Herald Awards Ceremony in the category of Art and Foreign Languages. She is responsible for reinstating the Art in Business Places, as well as for creating the Business Supporting the Arts program, ensuring that artists and businesses work together to display revolving art exhibits to beautify our community.
